Brandon Bigelow, MDR & MPA

Co-Founder, CEO

Brandon Bigelow has spent the better part of 25 years in pursuit of resolving conflict at all levels of organizations. The majority of that time involved a multitude of healthcare organizations in operational, strategic planning, HR, risk management, and employment related dispute matters. Over the course of his career, Brandon has taken a keen interest in developing positive, accountable organizations. Additionally, he has established numerous conflict resolution processes and tools that have allowed leaders and corporate executives to reduce organizational risk, manage internal disputes, reduce legal costs, and create systemic accountability.

Brandon began his career as a healthcare administrator in 1997. He managed post-acute care operations and in addition to consistently achieving financial and clinical results that exceeded company, state, and federal expectations, his focus was first and foremost on stabilizing and inspiring employees and organizations in culture change. Brandon continued his upward trajectory within healthcare and led several organizations as head of business development, VP of mergers and acquisitions, regional director of operations, and senior VP of operations.

During his career, he also founded two healthcare companies, the latter expanding to 1,700 employees and over $100 million in annual revenues. Brandon also continued to instill innovative organizational dispute resolution programs throughout the course of his career and as a result, set industry standards for retention, employee related claims, and drastic reductions in overall legal related expenses.

Brandon studied Political Science and Economics and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. He continued his education and earned a Master of Public Administration(MPA) from California State University, Fresno. His legal education followed and he earned a Master of Dispute Resolution(MDR) from the Rick J. Caruso School of Law at Pepperdine University.                               

In his spare time, Brandon loves to spend time with his family, which includes his wife, Kathryn, of 30 years, six children, and many grandchildren. And on those very rare occasions where he’s not working or with his family, you’ll probably find him playing golf, hiking, or catching a college football game on an Autumn Saturday afternoon.

Nicole Redstone, LNHA

President of HR Services 

Nicole Redstone is a graduate of San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia with a Certification in Human Resource Administration. She has spent the last 15 years working in different aspects of the skilled nursing industry including Human Resources Consulting, Payroll/Accounts Payables, and Marketing and Business Development.

Her key growth positions have included several years as a Regional Marketing Director and eventually VP of Marketing, overseeing up to 17 facilities across several states while helping to create a solid income stream through genuine community relationships and purpose-driven communication with the employees under her direction.

Most recently Nicole invested her time and energy to become licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in the state of California. In doing this, she furthered her knowledge, value, and interest in the nursing home industry and created an additional career avenue to be able to use and hone her vast people skills. All of Nicole’s career experiences in skilled nursing (this one included) have been uniquely fulfilling for her as they have always been centered around one main goal: the connection and harmony of people working for a purpose that is greater than ourselves.

Nicole has spent the bulk of her life in California’s Central Valley, growing up in Exeter and most recently moving to Tulare, California. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, cooking, travel, motorcycle rides, family time, and spending as much time with her 1 year old grandson as possible.

Elizabeth Vindiola, MDR & JD Candidate 2024

Elizabeth Vindiola serves as Fusion Conflict Strategies Co-Founding President of Conflict Management Services bringing a diverse background to bear including over 20 years of legal industry experience. Leading Conflict Management Services includes conflict resolution, mediation, arbitration, ombuds training, and
HR services.

Elizabeth’s passion for working in the space began with mastering different facets of the legal profession before focusing exclusively on conflict resolution, including completing her Masters of Dispute Resolution degree at Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Her passion for law has also motivated her to pursue her J.D. degree which she will complete in December 2024.

As the youngest of nine children and a parent, Elizabeth honed many of her mediation skills and interpersonal skills even before knowing that it would be her calling. Different than many in the industry, Elizabeth believes in a workstyle approach that brings empathy and human-touch to every client-experience.

Often described as the type of communicator that sets people at ease, Elizabeth excels in both the mediation and training environments offering clients a well-rounded experience.

In her spare time, Elizabeth likes spending time with her family, traveling, exercising, and hiking with her German Shepherd, Calvin.

Mitchell Green, ESQ

 Advisory Board Chair

Drawing on more than 30 years of diversified legal and business experience, Mitch formed Green Mediation 12 years ago becoming a full-time mediator/arbitrator. He is also a panelist at Alternative Resolution Center [ARC] based in Los Angeles. During that period, he has conducted nearly 3,000 mediations with a 95%+ settlement rate.  Mitch has also conducted numerous seminars and classes on mediation and negotiation, etc. Mitch combines his natural personality, people skills, and peacemaking ability with excellent reasoning and problem-solving creativity to facilitate equitable solutions to disputes. Mitch prides himself on thinking “outside the box” in order to move parties forward. Mitch’s style of conflict resolution creates a comfortable, non- adversarial forum which allows the parties to be engaged in the process of mediation—a team approach! Mitch truly has found his passion and loves helping parties resolve their issues.

Mitch has been a member of the California State Bar since 1984. Mitch has completed the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Mediation Program and various dispute resolution courses offered by private institutions.

In addition, he has been appointed an Arbitrator for the FINRA (formerly the NASD, National Association of Security Dealers) and the NYSE and has held Series 7 and 63 licenses. Mitch has expertise in complex financial matters, including securities, commodity and derivative investments. In addition to his law practice, Mitch has been Vice President, Director of New Business Development, for a large international Business Process Outsourcing [BPO] company with offices and facilities in the U.S., Philippines, and India. Mitch has represented international companies and high technology companies in North America and Asia.

David Rawe, ARM

 Advisory Board Vice-Chair

David is a Senior Manager with more than 28 years of experience in Risk Management, Human Resources, multi-line claims management, loss control, and labor relations. 

He has experience working in public entity claims, risk management, and public entity pools throughout the state of California.  Previously, David was the Risk Manager for the City of Roseville. 

David holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, and has obtained the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. This designation is the undisputed professional credential for persons involved in the risk management field. The ARM designation signifies that an individual working in this field has attained comprehensive understanding of the risk management process, from analysis to implementation and monitoring, risk retention and transfer, and the latest in advanced risk financing techniques.  He also earned the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.

This shows his ability to have technical claim handling ability, to handle a wide variety of claims, including property, auto, workers compensation, and bodily injury claims. The AIC program was developed with the technical and financial assistance of the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters. Many companies use it as an official part of their claims training programs.

David loves to build relationships with managers and line staff in organizations to help them recognize and minimize the impact of risk. He is proficient in risk assessment and mitigation, claims investigation and adjusting, loss prevention and loss control, risk transfer, contract insurance requirements, self-insurance, excess insurance, insurance procurement, workers’ compensation, return to work, and occupational health and safety. 

David loves to spend time with his wife and family and loves his German shepherd dog.  His hobbies include staying active, camping and other outdoor activities, woodworking, all things sports and home improvement projects.
